Barbara Slavin embarasses herself on Iran

I've watched Barbara Slavin go from a good & knowledgable reporter on Iran to yet another shill, promoting "conventional wisdom" and her own biases under the guise of journalism. As sad as that was, her "Ask me anything" post on Reddit is a particularly low point, not just due to the many factual inaccuracies that she's promoting but the underlying bigotry that's on display.

Apparently according to Slavin, Mossadegh was a communist ("Agreed" -- seriously, Barbara?), Iran "hid" its enrichment program (nope) and is "cleansing" Parchin (not) -- all standard lies that have been long debunked but oft repeated by third rate reporters.

Somewhere along the way, she started to  morph from a reporter to a wonk, sold out and started identifying with the "inside crowd" and is now hawking their tawdry conventional wisdom.
